QQ-A-225/8 T651 (6061) Bar & Extrusion

Medium strength aerospace aluminium alloy.

A widely used aerospace aluminium alloy of medium strength. Depending upon the specific temper, QQ-A-225/8 can have a tensile strength of 290 MPa (42 ksi) and yield strength up to 240 MPa (35 ksi).

This alloy is suitable for a range of applications where strength is needed while still allowing good weldability and workability. Like all aluminium alloys, QQ-A-225/8 T651 has exceptional resistance to corrosion.
